Karn Verma
Karn Verma is a passionate dance instructor specializing in Argentine tango and Cross Step Waltz. His journey began at the age of seven, inspired by Michael Jackson, and later expanded during his studies at Stanford University, where he explored various social dances with Richard Powers' classes. After performing Salsa and Bachata with a Los Angeles-based company, he discovered Argentine tango in 2015, deepening his expertise with training in Buenos Aires and Rome under Pablo Veron. Karn has taught at Stanford's Bechtel International Center, Friday Night Waltz in Palo Alto, Jikoji Zen Center, and the Oshman Family JCC.
In 2022, Karn founded Feeling Flow, a dance school dedicated to fostering connection and mindfulness through movement. His teaching integrates meditation, focusing on authenticity, flow, and musicality. With a strong emphasis on community building, he has introduced innovative events like live music milongas and structured tango series featuring experienced local instructors. Beyond dance, Karn is also involved in technology and healthcare innovation while practicing Zen and hosting Japanese tea ceremonies.

Lucas Garron has been a popular dj for Friday Night Waltz for many years. Lucas has a vast library of waltz and polka music. Lucas is on the Stanford Viennese Ball Welcoming Dance committee. Lucas has been a participant at over 50 WCA ( World Cube Association) competitions .He is a Product Engineer by day | Mathematician, speedcuber, and dancer by night
Jennifer Jasperse
Jenni first discovered social dance through the University of Michigan Ballroom Dance Team in 2015. She stepped away during the pandemic, but returned to dancing in 2023 after moving to the Bay Area. As a classically trained pianist and violinist, Jenni originally met the waltz from the other side of the music stand — and her favorite waltzes are still the ones she played in orchestras.
